This AVID titanium bolt is a performance upgrade for high load applications where you want to remove heavy steel hardware and replace it with precision made, lightweight, corrosion resistant titanium. It works great in side by side suspension and chassis assemblies and is equally suited for automotive, motorcycle, off road, racing, and custom fabrication projects that benefit from reduced weight and improved hardware quality.

AVID titanium bolts are designed with correct shank length and true sizing to keep threads out of the shear zone and to reduce movement in the bore. This improves fitment, reduces wear at pivot points, and helps the joint carry load on the smooth shank instead of on the threads.

For best results always use anti seize on the shank through all pivot locations and blue lock tite on the threads to protect the threads during installation and removal.
