The AVID Racing Lightweight Billet Front Upright is built for Polaris RZR Pro R, Turbo R, and Turbo S owners running our SC and XC front control arm kits. Machined from high strength 7075 billet aluminum and supplied with complete titanium hardware, this upright focuses on cutting unsprung weight while adding real race level strength.

Every suspension pivot on this upright is designed as true double shear and uses vertical mounted uniball bearings instead of ball joints. This layout greatly increases joint strength, supports the spindle from both sides, and eliminates the broken ball joint problem that has been common with other suspension kits.

Designed For AVID SC and XC Front Kits

• Matched Geometry: Upright is built around the AVID Front Control Arm Kit  so KPI, scrub radius, caster, and camber stay correct through the full travel range.
• Vertical Uniball Bearings: Uses vertical mounted uniball bearings to handle steering and bump loads that would destroy a standard ball joint.
• Double Shear Pivots: Both upper and lower control arm pivots, as well as steering and brake mounts, are captured in double shear for maximum strength and reduced bolt flex.
• Control Arm Compatibility: Intended as a direct bolt in with AVID SC and XC arms. Any use with other brands of control arms must be confirmed with the suspension manufacturer.

Lightweight Without Giving Up Strength

• 7075 Billet Housing: Pocketed 7075 billet body trims weight compared to the HD upright and factory cast parts while keeping a stiff, high strength structure.
• Titanium Hardware Included: Supplied with titanium bolts at critical locations to drop unsprung weight and resist corrosion.

How It Fits In The AVID Upright Lineup

• Lightweight Billet Upright: This model. Reduced unsprung weight, double shear pivots, and vertical uniballs for SC and XC style front ends.
• HD Billet Upright: Heavier duty version with a larger body for our Baja 80 inch long travel package and extreme race abuse.
• Chromoly Plate Upright: Fabricated plate option for builds that want AVID geometry and serviceable parts at a lower price point.
