Polaris RZR Pro R / Turbo R / Turbo S Chromoly Plate Front Upright

The AVID Racing Chromoly Plate Front Upright is the TIG welded 4130 version of our race upright for the Polaris RZR Pro R, Turbo R, and Turbo S. It shares the same geometry as our billet uprights and is built around vertical mounted uniball bearings and double shear pivots so the common broken ball joint problem is removed from the front suspension.

Race Geometry With Chromoly Construction

• Matched AVID Geometry: Uses the same KPI as our billet uprights so it works with all AVID front control arm kits.
• Vertical Uniball Bearings: Accepts 1 inch vertical mounted uniball bearings that carry steering and bump loads far better than a factory style ball joint.
• Double Shear Pivots: Upper and lower control arm mounts and steering connection are built in true double shear which supports the bolt on both sides and greatly increases joint strength.

Chromoly Plate, Machined Pivot Blocks

• 4130 TIG Welded Plate: Laser cut 4130 plate is TIG welded around machined blocks to create a rigid upright that handles desert and race abuse.
• Built To AVID Standard: Even though this is a plate design it is held to the same standard as our billet parts with tight tolerances and high quality materials.

Where This Upright Fits In The Lineup

• Chromoly Plate Upright: This model. Race geometry, double shear vertical uniballs, and machined pivot points with a more budget friendly material.
• Lightweight Billet Upright: 7075 billet version with pocketing and titanium hardware for reduced unsprung weight.
• HD Billet Upright: Oversized 7075 housing for the Baja 80 inch long travel package and maximum strength applications.

Fitment Notes

• Fits Polaris RZR Pro R, Turbo R, and Turbo S front suspension with AVID front control arm kits.
• Any use with non AVID control arms must be verified with the suspension manufacturer for clearance and geometry.
