Yamaha YXZ1000 Bottom Drop Transmission Mount Adapter Kit
The AVID Racing Bottom Drop Transmission Mount Adapter Kit for the Yamaha YXZ1000 allows you to remove the transmission from underneath the car without tearing apart the interior or console. This weld-in solution replaces the factory “trapped” design with a service-friendly mount system using billet plates and chromoly tabs.
Designed for race teams and serious builders, this kit makes clutch, gear, and transmission work faster and cleaner while maintaining the strength needed for high-horsepower YXZ builds.
What This Means on the Car
- Bottom Drop Service: Transmission can be removed from below the chassis. No need to pull the console, seats, or interior panels.
- Race Shop Friendly: Saves time on clutch and transmission service between test days, or race weekends.
- Stronger Mounting: Chromoly tabs and billet plates provide a more robust mounting interface than the thin factory brackets.

Installation Notes
- Tabs must be welded to the factory frame—professional welding and fabrication recommended.
- Vehicle must be properly supported and squared before welding to ensure correct alignment.
