YXZ1000 “YX3 Conversion” Rear Brake Line Kit
The AVID Racing YX3 Conversion Rear Brake Line Kit is a complete rear brake line replacement engineered specifically for our YX3 rear suspension conversion on the Yamaha YXZ1000. This system eliminates the factory rear hard-line tee and provides a clean, race-ready routing designed to work seamlessly with the geometry of the YX3 kit.
Note: This kit does not connect to the factory rear hard-line tee. The installer must cut and re-route the OEM hard line to a new location and have proper tooling to create a double flare. This ensures correct sealing and fitment to the new layout.
Included in Kit
- Left and right rear stainless braided soft brake lines (conversion length)
- 3-Way Tee Connector (rear junction block)
- Flare Union Fitting for adapting the modified OEM hard line
- Banjo fittings, crush washers, and mounting hardware
Installation Requirements
- Cut and re-route factory rear hard line to the new tee location
- Use of proper double-flare tool and technique
- Professional installation is strongly recommended
