The factory cage mounting holes are oversized, which can create excessive play with the stock 10mm bolt. This kit corrects that problem with larger oversized 12mm titanium bolts. The factory holes will need to be drilled or reamed to 12mm, and the kit can be installed one bolt at a time so each mounting point can be opened up and fitted cleanly for a tight, precise hardware fit.

This titanium hardware kit replaces the factory hardware for the Yamaha YXZ1000 factory cage after the factory cage mounting holes have been reamed to a full 12mm for clearance with the new bolt. It uses Ti-6Al-4V titanium hardware for a lightweight, corrosion-resistant upgrade. Our hardware is shanked for the proper fitment of the application stated in this listing, but it is not guaranteed to be identical in length to the original factory hardware.

This kit is grouped by installation location for a clean and straightforward replacement of the stated factory-compatible setup. Use anti seize on the shank where applicable, and use blue lock tite on the threads where applicable. Proper torque is critical. Always verify the complete hardware stack and the manufacturer-required torque specification before installation, as clamping force is application specific.
