ADS Direct Fit MBR Technology Multi-Stage Bypass Shock System for Can-Am Maverick R

The ADS Direct Fit MBR (Multi-Stage Bypass Ring) Technology shock system delivers advanced suspension tuning through a true multi-stage internal bypass system. Each bypass zone is independently adjustable using a positive stop helix system, allowing tuners to precisely control damping characteristics throughout the shock’s travel.

Designed to deliver flow characteristics comparable to 7-tube external bypass shocks on 16-inch stroke applications, the MBR system combines high-performance damping control with the compact packaging of an internal bypass shock. Integrated free bleed ports allow suspension tuners to further refine the damping curve to match specific vehicle setups and terrain conditions.

A dedicated top-out control zone provides both mechanical and hydraulic damping protection during full shock extension. This helps protect internal shock components during aggressive off-road use. While this protection is built into the system, the use of limit straps is recommended for racing and extreme conditions.

The system also features a 4-way adjustable reservoir, allowing independent adjustment of high- and low-speed compression and rebound events. This provides precise tuning capability for a wide range of off-road terrain and driving styles.

A dual-hose reservoir system creates a true recirculating fluid path that maximizes cooling efficiency. Internal diverters ensure fluid flows across the entire shock body, improving heat dissipation and maintaining consistent damping performance during extended off-road use.

Each shock is vacuum-bled during assembly and filled with high-quality synthetic hydraulic fluid to minimize cavitation, reduce fade, and extend service life.
