The AVID Racing Elite 80” Dual Shock Front Long Travel Kit for the Yamaha YXZ1000R is engineered for builders who demand the highest level of suspension performance. Developed from our race-proven 77” long travel platform, this system represents the most advanced and widest front suspension package available for the YXZ, delivering up to 24 inches of clean wheel travel with exceptional strength and control.
Designed around a dual shock configuration, this system utilizes lightweight 7075 billet upper control arms and race spindles paired with TIG-welded 4130 chromoly lower arms to create a suspension capable of handling extreme terrain, high-speed desert driving, and aggressive dune use. The integrated pivot relocation and reinforced mounting structure improve geometry, stability, and durability under load.
This kit is built for serious performance applications and requires fabrication for installation. Designed to run 2.0 coilover and 3.0 bypass shocks, optional shock packages are available to complete the system. Whether you're building a race vehicle or pushing the limits of your YXZ, the AVID Elite 80” dual shock system delivers unmatched capability and control.
