The AVID Racing Can-Am Maverick R Upper Control Arm Inner Pivot Gusset Kit is built to reinforce the upper A-arm inner mounts and tie them into the chassis for real race level strength. This weld on kit is laser cut from 3/16 inch 4130 chromoly plate and uses our signature machined weld washers that pierce through the factory pivot brackets. Once installed, the control arm bolt runs through a true half inch thick machined hole for maximum support and long term durability at the inner pivots.

What This Does On The Car

• Strengthens upper arm pivots: Machined weld washers pass through the factory inner mounts and create a solid, half inch thick machined bore for the control arm bolt.
• Mechanically ties into the chassis: Gusset plates and weld washers mechanically attach the upper arm mounts to the surrounding frame, reducing flex and spreading load through the front structure.
• Built for hard use: Ideal for long travel kits, race uprights, and aggressive desert or short course driving where the factory A-arm pivots are pushed to the limit.
• Clean weld in design: Parts are shaped to locate off the stock mounts so installation is straightforward for a qualified fabricator.
