Built from years of racing experience and real Baja testing, this kit transforms the rear suspension into a geometry-corrected, competition-ready system designed to handle everything the desert can throw your way.

Designed to correct wheel scrub, improve shock geometry, and maximize chassis stability — all while maintaining the precision and durability AVID is known for.

The AVID difference is all in the geometry. We set out not just to make a stronger arm, but to redefine how the rear of the Pro R handles. The track width has been widened to 80 inches for maximum stability and control. Factory geometry caused excessive wheel scrub and instability through transitions. This has been completely corrected to keep the rear end stable, predictable, and smooth when cycling through G-outs or when the suspension is at full droop. A progressive leverage curve helps the car stay straight and composed at high speeds while maintaining consistent damping and traction.

Rear shocks have been relocated back on the frame to improve shock angle and cycling ratios, providing better control and adjustability. Each arm is fabricated from 4130 Chromoly plate and TIG welded for unmatched durability. The radius rod plate is designed from 20mm thick billet 7075 or Chromoly, providing double-shear frame mounting to prevent deflection. Every mount, tab, and pivot has been refined to work together as a complete, balanced system. Most importantly, hand welded right here in the USA!

Optional Add-Ons

• Axles: Summer Brothers 300m shafts designed to use factory CV's, or Demon 300m complete replacement axle assembly.
• Brake Lines: Factory lines may be reused with modification, or upgrade to our extended replacement package for a perfect fit.
• Radius Rod Plate: Choose billet 7075-T6 or Chromoly steel plate. Both feature double-shear design for maximum strength.
• Radius Rod Kit: Available in solid 7075 billet or Chromoly tube construction. Geometry matched to the LT80 rear setup.
• Toe Link Kit: 7075 billet with stainless clevis and fine-tune toe adjuster for easy on-ground alignment. A replacement or adjustable version will be required for LT80 geometry correction. Our link is slightly longer than factory. 
• Shock Shaft: AVID upgraded 7/8” shaft replaces factory 5/8” converts the threads to a standard ADS style eyelet. A second option to replace the factory fork with a 5/8 eyelet is also available if you choose to run factory shaft. 
• Wheels: Geometry designed for factory offset wheels. Best paired with 35” tires to maintain scrub radius and stance.
