The AVID Racing Can-Am Maverick R Baja Race 7075-T6 Billet Uprights are the core of our Maverick R RACE front suspension system. CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with vertical uniballs in true double shear, these uprights carry all of the corrected geometry: KPI, scrub radius, caster, and camber gain. The result is a Maverick R that feels precise and stable at high speed.

These billet uprights are designed to work with the complete AVID Maverick R Baja or RACE front kit and must be installed as part of the full system. Compared to our chromoly upright, this 7075-T6 billet version is approximately 20 percent lighter while also increasing stiffness and strength.

The lower pivot uses the same location as the factory upright, which means these uprights can be used with some third party lower control arms that run a vertical bearing or uniball at the lower mount. The upper control arm must either be an AVID arm or a custom arm built to match our geometry and uniball configuration.
