The AVID Racing Maverick R Tie Rod Assembly – Baja Kit is the ultimate steering upgrade for high-speed desert and race applications. Designed around 7/8” uniball bearings and rod ends, this system delivers unmatched strength, precision, and longevity under extreme load conditions. Built to handle the abuse of Baja, dunes, and race environments, it’s the steering setup built for total control.

This version is specifically engineered to pair with our Maverick R Baja Front Control Arm Kit but can also be adapted to factory uprights with minimal trimming. For a direct OEM replacement, a 3/4” version is available that installs directly in the factory locations without modification and still holds matching strength to every other top kit on the market.
